  2. Where DOES time fit into all this? Remember the line [Fig.1]
  3. representing the fabric of Space/Time itself in pure energy form?
  4. When you take this line of Space/Time [the combination of pure
  5. energy and time] and twist it as you would a jump rope fast
  6. enough, say at the speed of light [186K miles/sec], you will form
  7. a knot in the line.  
  8.  
  9. In the Navy's origin of knots denoting speed an impeller is
  10. extended at the end of a line [rope], and depending on the speed
  11. of the ship, knots [where the term KNOTS as speed came from] form
  12. in the line [rope].This implies some kind of resistance causes
  13. the knots to form. 
  14.  
  15. Dealing with TIME this resistance is the speed of light itself.
  16. [See Science News, Feb 93, p86, "Photon Drag"] This is the "LIGHT
  17. BARRIER" and at the same time the "TIME BARRIER" that we are
  18. speaking of. To exceed the "SPEED OF LIGHT would be the same
  19. thing as exceeding the "TIME BARRIER" as one can see from any
  20. basic formula or equation dealing with DISTANCES and SPEED.

  26. Notice however the term DISTANCE is not limited to the MAX speed
  27. of light. The MAX speed of light is the absolute and not the
  28. DISTANCE. This may sound a little contradictory but the
  29. distance can and does change all the time and never the actual
  30. MAX absolute speed. This implies we can change the distance of
  31. the speed of light but never the MAX speed of light itself.
  32. Therefore the MAX speed of light is perceived as an absolute and
  33. rightly so. This also allows speeds less than MAX C. If one
  34. exceeds MAX C by shear force [FTL-which is not practical but can
  35. be achieved] then the TIME FRAME ["Time Barrier"] must change
  36. also. We would still be in the same Dimension but not the same
  37. Time Frame. In short we could not interact directly with matter
  38. between the two frames or be detected from a single time frame
  39. by conventional means alone.

  41. The word KNOT was used to get the concept across about what the
  42. continuum is doing, but a more true form would be that of a
  43. spring in the shape of a ball [or knot]. This knot or spring now
  44. takes on a configuration known as a wave packet. All the elements
  45. of the classical version still exist with the added construction
  46. and the extended concept of the distance of the speed of light
  47. along with the redefinition of linear and non-linear time. Only
  48. the viewpoint has changed from what is actually going on to what
  49. has been perceived in the past as linear and non-linear time.This
  50. is where linear and nonlinear time are confused. We will discuss
  51. this later when we talk about the motion of time as related to
  52. the knot or spring shape.

  55. The progression of the TIME BUBBLE [See Fig.1,6,7,8,9,10] is
  56. somewhat like the knot in the rope. This is how TIME forms at 90
  57. degrees to the fabric of SPACE/TIME or the Continuum. The medium
  58. chosen to display such an elusive subject as TIME will serve,
  59. however.
